Docs & support

Get connected.
Keep checkout moving.

Start with the setup overview, then use the plugin’s in-admin guide for configuration details.

Start here

Set up your first hub and store.

01

Install your Payment Hub

Install the plugin on your payment website and select the Payment Hub role. Configure PayPal in sandbox mode before taking live payments.

02

Connect your stores

Add each store on the hub and copy its connection credentials. On the store, choose the Store role, enter the credentials and run Test & Connect.

03

Sync your products

Select the products you want to bridge. Sync their display details and featured images, keep store pricing and check the catalog status.

04

Take payments through the hub

Customers begin on a store and pay through the hub. Payment status returns to the store, which continues to handle customer order emails.

Product requirements.

WordPress & WooCommerce

Product brief minimums: WordPress 5.9+ and WooCommerce 7.0+.

PHP environment

Product brief minimum: PHP 7.4+. Use maintained platform versions compatible with your plugin release.

PayPal account

A PayPal Business account, with sandbox configuration for testing before live payments.

These are the minimums supplied for Finpay, not recommendations to run outdated software. Confirm your installed plugin release and hosting environment before launch.

API guide

On the Payment Hub, open the plugin’s in-admin API Guide. Choose WordPress or Custom documentation to match the connected storefront. Use the included sample client and Postman-friendly documentation for the exact integration contract.

Common questions

What should I do if a store cannot connect?

Check the hub URL and the credentials assigned to that store, then run Test & Connect. Review the connection health check and logs for a specific error.

What if a payment status does not reach the store?

Review Order Sync on both sites. Finpay supports retrying failed syncs and background retries with backoff when the immediate notification fails.

Do all stores share the same identity?

No. Each store has its own connection credentials and identity. Hub orders and products retain their store attribution.

Are Apple Pay and Google Pay always available?

They are optional via PayPal. Availability depends on the PayPal account and payment configuration, along with device and browser support.

Where are customer emails sent from?

The originating Store handles customer order emails. The hub avoids duplicate WooCommerce customer emails for bridged orders.

Does Finpay handle raw card details?

According to the product brief, the hub uses PayPal hosted card fields, so card data does not pass through WordPress. Your production configuration still needs to be validated.

Plan and support questions

Plan prices and store allowances are still being finalized. For connection issues, collect your plugin version, Store or Payment Hub role, relevant order reference and the error shown in Order Sync.

Review WooCommerce logs under fpmp and the plugin Logs area. Remove credentials and personal customer information before sharing diagnostics.
